Thanks for visiting my blog!  

A little bit about me...

I began blogging here back in 2008 (wow...that long ago?) just for something new to do during college.  I'm not quite sure why really.  I think I just wanted a creative outlet without pulling out paint & canvases & making a big mess of things when I was probably putting off studying anyway.

I recently felt the need for a fresh start at blogging & began Whimsy & Wanderings.

 

Whimsy is one of my favorite words.  It doesn't fit inside a box.  It's dancing around the house like a ballerina, painting something whatever color you want, & dreaming big dreams.

   

Wandering is a journey for the sake of journeying, not intent on one particular destination.  

In a season of my life involving a lot of change, unknown, faith, & excitement, it seemed fitting.

My husband & I got married in December 2012 & moved from Georgia to California at the end of the summer in 2013.  Now we're settling in to life on the west coast & enjoying all the adventure that that brings.
